BMW has a vision for electric vehicles and it comes in the form of "BMW i".  You might have recently seen photos of the i8 hybrid concept or BMW i3 but this is only the beginning. BMW recently launched a tour named "Born Electric" to raise awareness and demand for its future EV products that will last for a year.

Born Electric will set down in seven cities including Rome, Dusseldorf, Tokyo, New York, London, Paris and Shanghai. In each of these locations, enthusiasts will be able to attend BMW events and learn more about the automaker's latest technological developments, sustainable products, and innovative mobility services.

On top of its journey around the world, BMW i has also just opened up a flagship store in London. Timed beautifully with the crowd-gathering summer Olympics, the opening of the store gives consumers the chance to take a look at the BMW i3, BMW i8, and other BMW i products before they arrive in markets. Other products include an electric Pedelec scooter as well as an i Wallbox for i range items.

To catch all the exciting details as BMW i Born Electric comes whizzing through the U.S. later on, be sure to stay tune to our BMW of Southampton blog. Also, feel free to channel any current questions you might have to our new BMW vehicle experts at 35 Montauk Hwy in Southampton, NY 11968 anytime.
