After showing off their new BMW 2014 and 2015 lineup at a bunch of auto shows overseas, the Bavarian automaker is now giving the United States the taste it's waited so long.

We're talking about the Los Angeles Auto Show, which is coming up quite soon. There, BMW will debut several of its new vehicles on American soil for the first time. We're quite excited about all of them, as we feel they'll make fine additions to our lineup here in Southampton, NY.

First on the docket is the new 4 Series Convertible, a hard-top auto that promises to offer luxurious and fun drives for those of you who long to take in the salt air of the Hamptons in style. The new convertible will offer premium BMW performance, and also be able to fold down its top at the drop of a hat--20 seconds, to be precise.

The BMW i3, which was recently named one of the breakthrough products of the year, will also be present. Sporting an all-electric range of 88 miles (99 with the range extender), it will be the perfect car for a green jaunt out to East Hampton or Montauk, or wherever you feel like going on Long Island.

Of course, we'd be greatly remiss not to mention the i8, whose production iteration was unveiled in Frankfurt this past September. The i8 promises a sporty ride, plug-in hybrid style, with a combined 357 horsepower from its dual powertrains, and 420 lb.-ft of twist.

Our hope is we'll learn a bit more about the Bavarian automaker's marketing plans for these models at the show, including pricing, so stay tuned to our blog for more information. You can also come down to BMW of Southampton to check out our current lineup.
