There's a certain radiance about the 7 Series, wouldn't you agree? We have to say, at BMW of Southampton, we can't get enough. It's a car that's designed to shine, which fits in perfectly with the scenery out here in the Hamptons. With that kind of persona, it's difficult to imagine the car getting any better than it already is.
Leave it to BMW to show us up.
What we mean, is that the Bavarian automaker has managed to enhance the look of the 7 Series by pairing with Robbe & Berking, a company that fashions silverware. Along with BMW's Individual Manufaktur branch, they've put together a one-off vehicle with several design accents fashioned of silver. The result has been dubbed the 760Li Sterling.
The gilding in the interior consists of a gleaming streak of sterling across the center stack and side paneling. BMW has also added silver seams and stitching to the seats, giving the beige interior an even more luxurious feel.
For the outside, the fashioning's can be seen on the sedan's rear decklid and tailpipe, and on the front end grille, which is entirely forged of silver. The BMW insignia on the hood has also seen the benefit of the silversmith's touch.
While we wish we could get our hands on this car at our Southampton, NY, we're still too big a fan of the 750i lineup we have in stock to be too beat up over it. If you'd like to experience the best luxury the Bavarian automaker has to offer, stop by our showroom and see what it has in store. And as always, be prepared to shine.
