Back in 2009, we welcomed the X6 into the new BMW lineup in our Southampton, NY. This model is unlike any other in the lineup as it blends the capabilities of a SAV and the style of coupe to form the world's very first Sport Utility Coupe. Lately, the Bavarian automaker has been hard at work developing the second-generation of the X6, and has finally released a launch film, showing off the 2015 model year.
The new X6 features a long hood and wheelbase with a high windowsill alongside of the brand's signature kidney grille shape and circular headlights. Also new to the X6 range is the addition of the sDrive35i, which features a 300 horsepower TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine and is mated to an 8-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission for the ultimate level of power and performance.
