Lately, German automakers have been all about the "entry level luxury" class, which comprises of luxury cars in the $28k to $32k bracket. Until now, the 3 Series was BMW's answer, but we have word that an all-new 1 Series is on the horizon. Last week, in Guangzhau, China, the Bavarian automaker took the wraps off the conceptual forebear for such a car.
Meet the Concept Compact Sedan, a classically-BMW take on entry-level luxury. While this isn't the production car by any stretch of the imagination, we're quite stoked by what it could mean for the promised and teased future 1 Series.
With a lack of technical details to go by, we'll take this car for what it is: a design study. And in that vein, it's a knock out. A longer wheel base treatment helps accentuate an elegantly sloping roofline, while the front end is decked out with LED-accented headlamps.
