The BMW M4 GTS benchmarked a lot of "firsts" when it was unveiled in October. The Munich automaker even went as far to call it the most agile, powerful, and radical M4 that the brand has ever put out. They even promised an astonishing seven-minute, twenty-eight second lap time on Germany's legendary Nurburgring.
That was a pretty lofty promise, to be sure. BMW has had no shortage of impressive lap times at the Eifel mountain circuit. Yet of all of their most potent machinery, the new M4 GTS proved the most impressive of all, beating out the likes of the Z8, M5, M6, and others to make that promised 7:28 circuit time. Congratulations to the new King of the Ring!
