With the BMW i3 joining the ranks of our new and used cars in the near future, it's no wonder why we've been so focused on all things EV here at BMW of Southampton. Then again, we're not the only ones. After all, it's not every day that our favorite automaker holds an EV hackathon.

A couple months back, we here at BMW of Southampton told all you fine folks about everything that the BMW i3 will have to offer. It's going to be an EV, it's going to be gorgeous, and if all goes according to plan, it'll be joining the ranks of our new and used cars before we know it.

Now that we've all had a good hearty laugh over the space-age technologies that won't be making their way into our lineup, it's time that we here at BMW of Southampton got back to business. Because if you haven't heard, the doors recently closed on the 2013 New York Auto Show, and if what we saw is to be believed, our new and used cars may never be the same.

As long as you're not on the receiving end of things, April Fools' Day can be an easy front-runner for funniest holiday of the year. It's a time for pranks, it's a time for jokes, and it's only that much better when our favorite automaker here at BMW of Southampton gets in on the fun.

Not to toot our own horns or anything, but we here at BMW of Southampton have gotten pretty good at fielding questions about the new and used cars at our dealership. Much of the credit is due to the infinite wisdom of the gearheads in our parts department, but the truth is that people tend to ask a lot of the same questions. From safety to fuel-efficiency, we'd honestly be surprised if people didn't ask these questions, and ever since vehicles like the 2013 BMW ActiveHybrid 3 Sedan showed up on our lot, the inquiries have only broadened…

If only we here at BMW of Southampton knew how to navigate our iPhones with the same ease as we do our new and used cars, maybe we wouldn't look like such old fogies these days. If it weren't for our kids who spend half their days glued to a computer, we'd be totally lost. But with this latest news from BMW, our worries will soon be over.

Folks, we know we're a bit biased and all, but we here at BMW of Southampton can't help but be continually amazed by what the wizards in our parts department are capable of. Outside of asking them to turn your BMW X5 into a Batmobile, it seems like there's no limit to what this gang can do. But now that we've recently caught wind of some of the stuff that the design team at BMW has been cooking up, our customization kings have a new bar to reach for.

It's not often that our world is graced with super groups, but in the rare occasions we've been privy to them, amazing things have taken place. Just think of all those catchy tunes we'd be deprived of had The Traveling Wilburys never happened, and we dare you to imagine the shame brought upon our nation had the Dream Team not been at the '92 Olympics. Say what you will about them, but we here at BMW of Southampton love us some super groups almost as much as we love the new and used cars at our dealership…

Be it the 2013 BMW 335i Coupe or the 2013 BMW 328i xDrive Coupe, we here at BMW of Southampton are admittedly shameless when it comes to our love for 3 Series Coupe models. What can we say, there's just a lot to love, inside and out. So when we recently got word that the German automaker was planning on phasing out their 3 Series Coupes to make way for their upcoming 4 Series Coupe models, we could only assume there was good reason behind it.

Call us spoiled, call us addicted, but we here at BMW of Southampton would be lying if we said we weren't hooked to our smart phones. But how could you blame us? You can do anything with these gizmos! Need directions for your new or used car? Want to surf YouTube for three hours? Need to access Google the second someone asks you a question we don't know the answer to? The possibilities are endless.
